Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 15 September 2026
This Policy covers money paid to DailySundry for a membership plan or a pack of lead credits. It forms part of the Terms & Conditions. It is written plainly so that you know where you stand before you pay, not after.
1. The short version
Once a plan is live, it is not refundable. Payment activates it immediately - the badge, the higher position in results and the lead allowance all start at once - so there is nothing to give back. Credits work the same way: they are spent as you use them, and whatever is left expires with the term it was bought in.
2. Membership plans
A plan runs for the term shown at checkout and starts the moment payment is confirmed. It does not renew by itself - nothing is charged again unless you buy again, so there is no subscription to cancel.
You may stop using a plan at any time; that does not create a refund, and the plan runs to the end of its term either way. Downgrading before the end does not refund the difference.
If we end your account because you broke the Terms or the Use Policy, no refund is due.
3. Lead credits
Credits open a company you want to reach. One is spent by whichever you do first: sending that company an enquiry, sending your first message in a chat with it, or revealing its contact details. Starting a chat does not spend one - writing in it does. Once spent it cannot be returned, because you have had what it bought: that company stays open to you for all three, for the rest of the term, at no further cost.
A company whose plan makes it free to contact costs nothing to reach. If it has chosen to keep its details off its page it is opened with a credit like any other, and that credit is not refundable on the ground that the company later publishes them.
Top-ups and credit packs. A pack is bought separately from a plan and runs on its own clock: it raises how many companies you may open, for the number of days stated when you buy it, counted from the day it is paid for. It does not extend your membership and is not tied to your plan's term. The rule above applies to its credits in the same way - a credit that has opened a company cannot be returned - and an unused pack that has not yet been paid for has nothing to refund, because nothing was charged.
Unused credits expire at the end of the term they belong to and do not carry forward. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account.
Unlocking a single lead. When an enquiry or chat arrives past your plan's readable allowance, you can pay once to unlock that one lead. The sender's details are shown the moment the payment is confirmed, so an unlock that has been delivered is not refundable.
4. When we do refund
We will put it right, in full, where:
- you were charged twice for the same thing, or charged for something you did not buy;
- you paid and nothing was activated - the plan or the credits never appeared on your account and we cannot activate them;
- we withdrew the service you paid for, in which case we refund the unused part of the term.
A refund is of the amount you actually paid. If a discount or offer reduced the price, the refund is of the reduced amount, not the list price. It goes back in the currency you paid in, through the same provider - rupees through the Indian gateway, dollars through PayPal or Stripe - and we do not cover a difference caused by exchange rates or by your bank's own fees.
Outside those cases we may still look at a request on its own facts. Ask us - we would rather hear from you than have you charge it back.
5. Payments made against a payment link
Some charges are raised as a payment link - a one-off amount for something agreed with you directly, sent with a proforma. The proforma is a quotation rather than a tax invoice, and paying a link does not by itself start a plan or add credits: it settles the thing that was agreed, and any plan or credits are applied separately.
The same three cases above decide a refund, read against what was agreed rather than against a plan you did not buy - so “paid and nothing was activated” means the thing the link was raised for never arrived. Quote the proforma number when you write; it is on the link, on the receipt and on the proforma itself, and it is the fastest way for us to find the payment.
6. What a plan does not buy
A plan buys visibility and access: a badge, a better position, more listings, an allowance of unlocked contact details. It does not buy enquiries, leads, orders or customers, and no number of them is promised. That a term produced fewer enquiries than you hoped is not a ground for a refund.
Every allowance is a ceiling, not a promise of volume, and each figure is printed on the pricing page before you pay. The lead allowances refill every 30 days across the life of the membership. Reaching one is not a fault: enquiries and chats past it are held rather than lost, and open when you upgrade or unlock them. Not using an allowance is not a ground for a refund either - an unused one is not money we are holding for you.
Choosing to hide your own contact details is a setting, not a fault, and not a ground for a refund. It changes nothing else the plan provides - the badge, the position, the listing allowances and the ad-free page all continue - and it can be switched back on at any time from your dashboard.
7. How the service is delivered
Everything DailySundry sells is an online service. Nothing is shipped and there is no physical delivery. A plan, a credit pack or a single-lead unlock is applied to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed - within minutes for a card, UPI, PayPal or Stripe payment, or once we have checked it for a bank transfer - and you receive a receipt by email. A payment made against a payment link settles the thing it was raised for, as described above.
If an online payment has gone through and nothing has appeared on your account within 24 hours, write to us with the payment reference and we will activate it or refund it in full.
8. Chargebacks and disputes
Please talk to us before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card provider; most problems are put right faster that way. If a chargeback is raised on a payment that was delivered as described here, we may pause the plan or credits it paid for while the dispute is open, and share the order, receipt and usage records with the payment provider to answer it.
9. How to ask, and how long it takes
Write to refund@dailysundry.com from the email address on the account, with the order or payment reference and what went wrong. You can also reach us through Contact us.
We answer within 3 working days. Where a refund is due we start it within 7 working days of agreeing it. The money goes back by the route it came, to the same card or account, and how long it then takes to appear is up to your bank or payment provider - usually 5 to 10 working days.
Unhappy with the outcome? The Grievance Officer named in the Terms will review it.
