How to Prepare a Custom Silicone LED Profile Enquiry

Overview

A useful custom silicone LED profile enquiry brings three things together: the shape you need, the strip that will sit inside it and the installation where the finished light will be used. A drawing is helpful, but you can also begin with a section sketch, a sample or photographs of the detail you need to match.

1. Show the cross-section and available space

Give the overall width and height, the internal channel and any mounting groove or surrounding housing. Identify the dimensions that are critical to fit. If a detail is not yet decided, mark it clearly instead of guessing.

2. Identify the LED strip

Provide the strip width, component height and a photograph or specification sheet. Include connector dimensions when they must fit inside the profile. State whether you need an empty silicone housing for your own strip or a finished LED Neon Flex assembly.

3. Mark the visible light face and installation route

Show which surface should emit light and where people will view it. Include bends, corners and transitions on the route drawing. The permitted bending direction needs to match the selected profile; do not assume the tube can be twisted into any orientation.

4. Describe the electrical and end details

For a finished assembly, share the available supply voltage, colour or colour-temperature requirement and control method. Mark the cable exit, end-cap space and power-feed position. Cutting intervals and other electrical specifications depend on the exact configuration and should be confirmed before ordering.

5. Give lengths, quantity and application

List the required segment lengths or supply format, expected quantity and installation environment. Furniture details, retail displays and architectural light lines can require different mounting and viewing arrangements. A photograph of the installation often explains these constraints more clearly than a product name alone.

6. Review the sample before production

Check the cross-section, LED strip fit, mounting interface, light appearance, bending route and end details together. Record any agreed changes so the accepted sample and selected configuration are clear before production.
